After university, Sarah worked at a jewellers in Bath, learning the trade. When her first child was born she decided to go freelance so she could be at home. Sarah has since published two picture books, Frog Finds Home and Chameleon’s Colour Quest, through The Lela Initiative. The Lela Initiative is a not for profit publishing house that uses it’s book proceeds to fund library projects in Uganda.

Sarah’s first adult novel ‘The Funeral’ is to be published shortly by Inkspot Publishing.

Sarah is an advocate of ‘Creativity for All’ - hosting creative workshops and book Talks across the UK to give others the opportunity to explore their creative side. She also loves to capture special moments for people in her commissions - copying photos of special places in nature through watercolour and ink.
