Sarah’s dream was always to write and illustrate books and it has been so amazing to see that dream come to fruition. Currently Sarah has two picture books published but is now branching into adult and middle grade fiction. Her picture Books are published by The Lela Initiative. A not for profit publishing house that uses their book proceeds to fund library projects in Uganda. To date, the Initiative has planted mobile libraries in the slums of Kampala and built two community libraries.

Sarah also takes on writing projects to help others fulfil their dreams of publishing their stories. Sarah Ghost wrote ‘Ashes of Childhood' a memoir based on the childhood of Lela Burbridge, growing up on the streets of Kampala. Sarah can also be commissioned for smaller copywriting projects.
